 Overview
BioWorks has utilised used cooking oils in its production of biodiesel from inception. The general limitation in the use of used cooking oils is the ability to successfully convert this oil to biodiesel. BioWorks overcomes this limitation through the use of the Ageratec processors.
The use of used cooking oils in the production of biodiesel creates the most sustainable of the biodiesel from presently available feedstock. The biodiesel generates a carbon saving of the diesel equivalent value for emissions. A recent life cycle assessment study by the
CSIRO demonstrated that the biodiesel made from used cooking oil reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 83% compare to petrodiesel.
Get paid to be green
BioWorks UCO offers you the opportunity to be part of an environmental solution, and get paid for it. BioWorks UCO will collect your used cooking oil, which will be used exclusively in the production and distribution of renewable fuels in Western Australia.
